Audie Lee Morgan, 81, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born to Audie Cleveland Morgan and Mary Lou Thrasher on May 26, 1944. He was a member of East Height’s Baptist Church. He and his wife owned Verona Trading Post and Pawn Shop for many years. He was an enthusiastic gun activist and had many hobbies such as playing cards, racing four-wheelers, fishing, camping, and playing golf. He enjoyed traveling and seeing all the beautiful sites with his wife. One of his joys was going to the coffee shop with the guys.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Morgan of Saltillo; son, John Adam Morgan of Saltillo; one grandchild, Audrey Paige Morgan; one great grandchild, Carter Evans Thrasher; and special friends, Stanley Morris, Robert Kidd, James Roy Gillentine, and Angie Gillentine.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Richard Dean Morgan; and daughter-in-law, Teresa Morgan.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Monday, April 20, 2026, at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Bro. Jay White officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
