Audie Faye Gargis
(March 23, 1929 – May 21, 2013)
Audie Faye Gargis, age 84, of Leighton, died Tuesday, May 22, 2013. Visitation will Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Billy Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Gargis was a member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church of Sheffield and was preceded in death by her husband Robert Larry Gargis; her parents, Mattie and Floyd Lovelady; sisters, Mattie Lovelady Wallace and Ruby Lovelady.
She is survived by her son, Larry Gargis; daughter, Sheila Roberson, grandchildren; Eric Suttles, Aaron Suttles, Stephanie Gargis; great grandchild, Kyle Wylie, six nieces and five nephews.
Pallbearers are Richard Gutrey, Joey Murphy, Billy Beaver, Vassel Beaver, Steve Fisher and Fred Sizemore.
