Aubrey Jerome Rhodes, 81, of Fort Payne, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021. He was born September 5, 1939 to the late Samuel Columbus Rhodes and Allie Adams Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes was a member of Cove Road Church in Mentone.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Cloudland, GA with Rev. Brian Keith officiating. Pallbearers will be Pete, Hoyt, Charlie B., Randy, Eddie, and Ray Ballinger and honorary pallbearers Wesley Rhodes, Michael, Tim, and Glenn Ballinger.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ballinger Rhodes; sons Stephen Glenn Rhodes and wife Debra and Joel Shannon Rhodes; sisters Phyllis Spillman, Linda Whitley, and Sharon Shirey; grandchildren Samantha King, Terra Helms, Austin Rhodes, Allie Rhodes, and Wesley Rhodes; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
