Aubrey James Dixon 90, of Tuscumbia passed away, Tuesday, November 24, 2015. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2015 at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Belinda Rives will officiate.
Mr. Dixon was a native of Haleyville, AL. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Navy. He was a retired chemical engineer with T.V.A., and he was a member of Edgemont United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Little Dixon; daughter Sara Dixon Stevenson; granddaughter Courtney Stevenson; and daughter-in-law, Tracey Dixon.
Survivors are sons Dane Dixon of Tuscumbia and Mark Dixon, and wife Debra, of Huntsville, AL; son-in-law Jackie Stevenson; grandchildren Taylor Dixon, David Dixon, Laura Shaffer, and Elizabeth Johnson; and three great-grandchildren Grace, Hayden, and Roman.
