Aubory D. Greer “David”, age 80 of Zion, IL, passed away on Sunday March 11, 2018 at Vista Health Care Center in Waukegan, IL. A visitation will be held for David on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at the Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at the Wofford Cemetery in Vernon, Alabama, Friday, March 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm, Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent, Alabama in charge of burial.
David was born on July 21, 1937 in Gatteman, MS, The son of the late Robert and Ivy Foster Greer. David served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by Fansteel and later worked for Pickett’s Construction Co. in Waukegan, IL for over 40 years.
He loved fishing, hunting, trapping, gardening and spending time with his friends, especially Cindy.
