Attie Loretta “Dink” Gordon, age 87, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Fayette Medical Center-Long Term Care Unit, in Fayette AL. A Memorial Service honoring Ms. Gordon will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel. Bro Jimmy May, officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00pm until service time at 2:00pm.
Ms. Attie Loretta Gordon known to her family and friends as “Dink” Gordon was born on November 17, 1937 in Poinsette County, Arkansas to the late Arthur Lee Wells and the late Marie Cassiday Wells. Attie became a resident of Lamar County in 1964. She was of the Baptist faith and attended the Beaverton Baptist Church in Beaverton, AL. She had a love for flowers and gardening, with red roses being her favorite. Dink loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her beloved grandchildren. She loved and adored her pet dog Penny and was nicknamed “Maw Maw Penny” by one of her great-grandchildren. She was also an avid Alabama Football fan. Her loving heart and memory will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
