Attempted Murder Charge Filed In Shooting In St. Florian

LAUDERDALE COUNTY-An arrest for Attempted Murder was made late Tuesday, September 29 in a shooting event in St. Florian that took place on September 3.

Three men were inside a home when an argument ensued. Jeffery Wilson left the home on Saltzburg Lane returned with 2 guns.  Investigators say Wilson shot  Carl Eckle in the stomach.  Richard Mayne, grabbed a pistol and fired two shots in the air. According to the investigation Mayne shot  Wilson and Wilson returned fire.

Jeffery Wilson has been booked into the Lauderdale County Jail  on Tuesday afternoon, September 29 and charged with Attempted Murder.
