ATHENS-Limestone County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Athens Police Department have arrested 13 people as a result of a nine month undercover narcotics operation. The operation was a joint operation between Limestone County Sheriff’s Department and Athens Police.
According to The Sheriff’s Office there have been warrants issued for 18 more suspects. On Thursday, November 13 and Friday, November 14 the roundup of the 13 suspects took place.
Arrests of 5 were by the Athens Police and 7 were taken into custody by The Limestone Sheriff’s Department. 1 arrest was a joint arrest by both the Police and the Sheriff’s Department. Of the 18 outstanding warrants 7 are with the Athens Police and 11 are with the Sheriff’s Department.
The suspects were booked into Limestone County Jail.

Both departments arrested Jarvis Darrell Malone, 41, 206 Cloverleaf Drive, Apt. 1, Athens. Athens police charged Malone with first-degree possession of marijuana. The Sheriff’s Department charged him with three counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

- Samantha Dawn Baugher, 38, 14976 Bell Road, Athens.
- Vincent Edward Caldwell, 51, 701 Westview Ave., Athens.
- Crystal Kay Gunter, 39, 2445 Peach Road, Minor Hill, Tennessee.
- Eric Ferrell Johnson, 32, 12590 Ripley Road, Athens.
- Holly Jane Meeks, 31, 29808 First Ave., Ardmore.
- Marcus Jabriel Smith, 16609 Blackburn Road, Lot 8, Athens.
- Kaythren Joyce Ann Stutts, 27, 16028 Parker Road, Athens.
- Adam Gatlin, 25, 22228 Cagle Road, Athens.
Athens police arrested:
- Andrea Elizabeth Flanagan 29, 604 First Ave., Athens, distribution of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
- Christopher Jason Hovis 34, 27888 Harvest Road, Toney, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a drug paraphernalia.
- Harold Robinson 36, 402 North Jefferson St., Athens, possession of dangerous drugs.
- Danny Joe McCown 57, homeless, second-degree possession of marijuana.
