Rodney Watkins
ATHENS-Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson released a statement on a Domestic Violence Charge that occurred on Wednesday, October 26:
“This morning the police department received call that a man was walking down Skyview Drive bleeding. Officer Jason Three located Rodney Watkins on Skyview. He was bleeding from the area of his side. At that time Watkins refused medical attention. Threet also located Watkins girlfriend. She was bleeding from her face. The couple had been in a domestic altercation Watkins hit her and she cut him. The incident took place at 409 Skyview Street. Watkins eventually was transported to the ER by ambulance. He was released later in the morning. After an investigation by Investigator Kelly Fussell, Watkins was arrested for domestic violence third degree.”
