ATHENS – Athens Main Street’s 2019 Chocolate Walk is only three days away, Saturday, February 2 from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Chocolate Walk Tickets may be sold out, but everyone can enjoy the fabulous specials offered by Downtown merchants. Whether you have tickets or not…stop in, shop the store specials and sign up for the many door prizes offered.
Athens Main Street Executive Director Tere Richardson said “We were astounded by the Love of All Things Chocolate! 200 tickets to the event were snapped up within 48 hours. Our record number of participating businesses are eager to greet everyone on Saturday. They have offered great Sweet Deals, sure to delight shoppers.”
Walkers will start at the Athens Main Street office, 107 N. Jefferson Street (next to Terranova’s), and will be provided a walking map, a list of participating merchants’ Sweet Deals, and a goodie bag from Athens Main Street.
