Athens Girl Struck By Auto

ATHENS-On Thursday, December 7, 2023, at approximately 5:00 pm, a fourteen year old female was attempting to cross US 31, near Pryor Street.  She was struck by a South bound vehicle that remained at the scene and cooperated with the ongoing investigation.

The girl was taken by helicopter to UAB and her condition is unknown at this time.
