Funeral service for Ashley Kay Long, age 29, of Hartselle, will be Sunday, July 27, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Berry officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service. Interment will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Miss Long, who died Friday, July 25, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born April 23, 1985, in Morgan County, to Randy Long and Kay Lamon Long. She was preceded in death by her father. Miss Long was a real estate agent with Century 21.
She is survived by her mother, Kay Long of Hartselle; one brother, Wesley Long of Jacksonville; two grandmothers, Kathryn Lamon of Decatur, and Lucille Long of Hartselle; and her soul mate, Brian Finch of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Odom, Dylan Jackson, Richie Cary, Billy Ramey, Kenny Hetrick, and David Champion.
