Ashley Dawn Hagood, age 33, of Hartselle, Alabama, passed away on April 11, 2026.
Ashley was born on April 24, 1992. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose life was defined by her strength, love, and unwavering dedication to her family. Known as a true “Wonder Woman” of a mom, Ashley worked tirelessly to provide for her children, always finding a way to make things happen for them no matter the circumstance.
Ashley built a career as an Executive Assistant for Lektron, Inc., where she was respected for her determination, reliability, and strong work ethic. Outside of her career, she was known for her loyal heart, loving spirit, and the deep care she showed to those around her.
She is survived by her father, Chris Hagood; her brothers, Trevor Hagood (Keith), Brian Kemper (Trinity), and Graham Segrest (Leigh Ellen); her sisters, Bella Graves (Dayton) and Savannah Graves (Duncan); her grandmother Marie Hagood; her beloved son, Bentley Owen Pledger, and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was joined in death by her children, Bryant Christopher Ballew, Bryleigh Grace Pledger, and Brynleigh Nell Pledger.
She was preceded in death by grandfather Lynn Hagood, grandmother Teresa Gilbert, and step mother Carolyn Hagood.
Ashley will be remembered for her strength, her devotion to her children, and the love she gave so freely. Her impact on her family and friends will never be forgotten.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at First Methodist Church in Hartselle, with Pastor Jon Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday at the church.
