Ashley Christine Green passed away unexpectedly on April 30th, 2021 in Ardmore, AL, at the young age of 33.
Ashley was born in Huntsville Hospital on September 15th, 1987 to two young, proud parents. The youngest of two sisters, she was always energetic and full of surprises growing up, which kept her parents on their toes. On May 5th, 2001 Ashley was baptized into Christ at the Madison Church of Christ. She married and was widowed at a young age.
Ashley and Daniel started their life together 15 years ago. Over that time, their home grew into six. She was the light of each of their lives. With her family, Ashley loved to go on adventures: camping, hiking, back-roading, and road tripping. She enjoyed spooky stories, watching movies, and get-togethers. She always encouraged thinking outside-the-box and always found a way to have hope. Ashley had a heart for helping, and often did what she could to do good to others. Her lively spirit went ahead of her everywhere she went. Her laughter was frequent and can still be heard clearly in the hearts of all who loved her.
Ashley is survived by her husband, Daniel James Green of Ardmore; her four children, Donald Anthony, Hannah Christine, Krista Diane, and Bently James; her parents, Guy Anthony Cole of Madison and Pamela Christine Anthony Lynch of Madison; her sister, Candice Brooke (Jimmy) Pinzon of Peoria, AZ; her grandmother, Rosa Walters Anthony of Madison: three nieces, one nephew, one great-niece; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved her very much. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Donald Scott Renfroe.
The family has planned a celebration of life for Ashley at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be Friday, May 7th from 5:00-8:00pm and Saturday, May 8th from 9:00-10:45am. The funeral service will be on Saturday, May 8th at 11:00am with a burial immediately following at Roselawn Cemetery.
