Artie Lois Speakman, 90, died Nov. 17, 2016. Her visitation will be Sunday from noon until 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Brother Clyde Ledlow is officiating.
Mrs. Speakman was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Glenn Speakman; her parents, Asbury and Mary Johnson; three sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by sons, Jim Speakman (Deniese) and Scotty Speakman (Sandra); and daughter, Glenna Sullivan (Barry); granddaughter, Christy White (Cory); and grandson, Michael Sullivan; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter; four sisters; and one brother; also by numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois loved her Atlanta Braves and Alabama football. She also enjoyed flower gardening and watching all her grandkids play. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
