Arthur Shoffner, 77, of Cypress, TX (formerly of Iuka, MS) died Friday, September 2, 2016, at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Katy, TX. He was an U.S Army veteran, and was retired from UPS. He was a very active member of Bear Creek Baptist Church in Katy, TX. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Brian Rainey. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 8 PM on Friday, September 9 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 2 sons – Mark Shoffner (Melissa) of Cypress, TX and Frank Shoffner of Booneville, MS; 1 brother – Lewis Shoffner (Caroline) of Selmer, TN; 1 sister – Linda Weaver of Corinth, MS; and 3 grandchildren – Brock Shoffner, Ashton Shoffner, and Clint Shoffner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Shoffner; his parents, Robert Frank and Rubine Lucille Shoffner; and his sister, Hazel Aquirre.
