Arthur Shipman, age 68 of Jasper, AL, Davie and Orange Springs, FL.
Arthur was born on September 25, 1951 to Jack D. Shipman and Ada M. Shipman. He is married to Pamela Shipman and they have two sons, Thomas and Brian Shipman, two daughters, Dana and Mina Shipman, and three grandchildren, Destry, Devin and Meela Shipman.
He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Arthur always liked to joke and kid around and have a good time with family and friends. He was called upon by the Lord on July 13, 2020.
Arthur was preceded in death by his Father-Jack D. Shipman; Mother-Ada M. Shipman; Brothers-Jack Shipman and John Busby; Sister-Joannie Parascando.
He is survived by his Wife-Pamela Shipman; Sons-Thomas and Brian Shipman; Daughters-Dana and Mina Shipman; Grandchildren-Destry, Devin and Meela Shipman. Also a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at Collins-Burke Funeral Home on Saturday, July 18, 2020 starting at 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for private family viewing and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for all. A short graveside prayer reading and internment at 1:00 p.m. at Walker Memory Gardens. We ask that all who attend please be considerate of everyone and wear a mask.
