Arthur Lee Kyle, 79 of Decatur, Alabama died on Friday, April 4, 2014, at his home.
Born Saturday, December 15, 1934 in Athens, Alabama, he was the son of the late Charlie Kyle and the late Ruth Boyd Kyle. He was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter: Wanda Diane Newton.
Surviving are his wife: Jean H. Kyle of Decatur, AL, sons, Scotty Lee (Lisa) Kyle of Decatur, AL and Joel Wayne Kyle of Anderson, AL, Step-son: Barry C. Winkler of Athens, AL, daughter, Donna K. Barnett of Anderson, AL, brothers, Oliver Kyle of Athens, AL and Audway Kyle of Athens, AL, sisters, Mary Bates of Athens, AL and Vickie Jane Elledge of Athens, AL, ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 7, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Dr. Timothy McDowell officiating. Burial will be in Pettusville Cemetery, Elkmont, AL.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
