Arthur Lawson, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at his residence. He was a native of Wayne County, TN, retired from Southern Craft Manufacturing, and a member of First United Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Velma Prince Lawson.
He is survived by his wife, Ruthie Lawson of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Teresa Ellis of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Stanley Lawson of Lawrenceburg, TN; five grandchildren. Nick Ellis (Casey) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Cory Ellis (Ashlie) of Ethridge, TN, Heather Hopkins (Brad) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Trevor Lawson (Aftyne) of Christiana, TN, and Jenifer Lawson of Murfreesboro, TN; nine great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2021, at First United Pentecostal Church, 1103 Springer Road, Lawrenceburg, TN. Funeral services will be conducted at First United Pentecostal Church at 1:00 PM Friday, December 31, 2021, with Ricky Bowen and Jerry Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
