Arthur LaVoyd Johnson, 70, of Gurley, Alabama passed away November 22, 2017. He was born on March 19, 1947 in Alabama to Herman and Mary (Everett) Johnson.
He is receded in death by his wife of 40 years Barbara Ann Johnson, his parents Henry and Mary Johnson, sister MaryJim King, and his brother HC Johnson.
He is survived by his son Michael Johnson; daughter-in-law Heather Johnson; grandchildren Chase, Kylie, Carter, and Colson; sister Nancy Brewer; nieces Cindy Belue and Lisa King Dec; nephews Terry King and Mike Moss; and numerous cousins and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, Alabama. Visitation will be held Friday, November 27, 2017 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Spry Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held Friday, November 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at Gurley City Cemetery.
