Arthur “Bud” Reynolds Greene, 77, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at his residence in Elmont, Alabama.
Born on Wednesday, July 09,1947, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the late Mr. Arthur E. Greene and Sarah E. Boyd.
Bud enjoyed woodworking, and he was a jack of all trades. Mr. Greene was member of New Oakland Independent Baptist.
Mr. Greene was preceded in death by both of his parents, one sister, Velma M. Brooks.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Greene, one daughter, Lori Ann (Daniel) Gibson, 2 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, three sisters; Betty Poole, Christina Turner, Vercona Pack, as well as host of nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews.
A church service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at New Oakland Independent Baptist Church in Athens, Alabama. He will be laid to rest directly following the service at New Oakland Cemetery located in Athens, Alabama. Rev. Frankie Murphy and Rev. Dwight Raban will be officiating.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
