Funeral service for Arthur Benton Moore, Sr., age 71 , of Decatur, will be Monday, April 29, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Elder officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 28, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Moore, who died Friday, April 26, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital, was born April 21, 1942 in Hartselle, Alabama to Asberry B. Moore and Naomi Jaggers Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Charlo Moore; his son, Arthur Benton Moore, Jr. (Janet) of Decatur; his daughter, Nicole Moore Griffith (Phillip) of Hartselle; his step-daughter, Paige Blankenship of Decatur; his sister, Margie Blanton of Hartselle and his granddaughter, Shanna Dunn of Decatur
Pallbearers will be Tim Simmons, Sidney Morris, Jay Russell, Jimmy Little, Tyler Simmons and John Randall Preswood.
