Each summer, the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art hosts week-long summer art camps for young artists. Students work with professional artists all week to produce a portfolio or exhibition. Advanced Art Camp for grades 7-12 will be July 5-8, and Junior Art Camp for grades 3-6 will be July 11-15. Spots are limited, so register today!

Shelter Share Pet Adoption Day
Friday, May 20, 9 am-4 pm
at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art
Meet adorable adoptable pets from the Colbert County Animal Shelter, right outside the museum! Bank Independent will cover adoption fees for approved applicants during this event. Plus, SMASHED food truck will be on site from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm, serving their delicious burgers!
Inside the museum, you’ll be able to enjoy our fun Pets in Paint exhibition, featuring pet portraits by several local and regional artists, as well as Tara Stallworth Lee’s exhibition slowly, pleaseI. Museum admission will be donation-based for the May 20 Pet Adoption Day.
