Graveside services for Mrs. Arretta Mayo Little, age 89, are scheduled for 2 PM, Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Caraway Cemetery near Lexington. Pafford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Little passed away early Tuesday in Lexington. She was born January 4, 1931 in Lexington to the late James Franklin and Geneva Smith Mayo. She married Denver Eugene Little on January 12, 1947 and they enjoyed 58 years together until his passing in 2005. She was retired from Salant/Salant and former owner of Mandy’s Market. She enjoyed reading and listening to Lexington Radio Station’s Cardinals Baseball Games. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Little was also preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny Gene and Linda Little; her daughter, Judy Sharon Musgrave; two brothers, William Henry and Leon Franklin Mayo; one half-brother, Charlie Mayo; and one sister, Annie Evagene Mayo. She is survived by her granddaughter, Amanda Jowers (Randy). The family would like to thank the staff at Volunteer Homecare for their love and compassion.
