Arrest Made In Friday Shooting Near Harvest

HARVEST-Shortly after 6 pm on Friday, September 13, Madison County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting incident in the 100 block of Silver Poplar Place in the Harvest community.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a male subject suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Huntsville

Carrandas Oshay Jackson

Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting was a result of domestic violence. A male individual at the scene was taken into custody.
 Sheriff’s detectives arrested and charged 27-year-old Carrandas Oshay Jackson with Capital Murder in relation to the shooting that took place in the 100 block of Silver Poplar Place.
Jackson was then placed in the Madison County Jail Facility, where he is currently being held without bond.
