Arnold Thomas Canup Jr., age 73 of Sheffield died Tuesday, January 31, 2017.
His family will receive friends Friday, February 3, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia with funeral service following in the funeral home chapel at 11 am with Rev. Randy Burbank officiating. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. in Red Bay City Cemetery.
Mr. Canup was a native of Red Bay, AL and was a member of Red Bay Methodist Church. He served in the Army and was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Thomas Canup Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Marjorie B. Canup, brothers, Jackson B. Canup, David Lee Canup (Jeannie), nieces and nephews; Justin, Paul, Bonnie, Alex and Cole and special cousin, Delores Swindle.
The American Legion will serve as pallbearers.
