Arlis Holcome Jr., age 74, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Florence Nursing Home and Rehab Center, Florence.
Mr. Holcome proudly served his country in the United States Marines Corp.
The visitation will be 1:30-2 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the memorial service following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Brother Dwight Love.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Betty Lindsey Clark Holcome; his daughters, Gladys and Nancy; stepson, Joe Pearson; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Lillian Johnson, Ruth Wallace, Margie Oliver; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva Gladys (Kent) Holcome and Arlis Holcome.
