Arlene Joyce Sanchez, age 88, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, May 18, 2026, at The Summit of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Luckey, OH, a beauty consultant with Avon, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Sanchez enjoyed reading, playing scrabble, doing puzzle books, and bird watching.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raoul Alfred Sanchez; her parents, Howard Ernest and Helen Pauline Snyder Grover; and one son, Steve Yocom.
She is survived by three daughters, Ann Wasuck (Mike) of Loretto, TN, Beth Thompson (Roy) of Florence, AL, and Carole Harris (James) of Pierson, FL; one son, Allen Yocom (Debra) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters, Beverly Hill (Gerald) and Alma Camp (Melvin) both of Pemberville, OH; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 22, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 23, 2026, with Reggie Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
