ELKMONT-On Thursday, January 28 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued a statement concerning the death of one person from a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday:
“A one-vehicle crash at approximately 10:25 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, has claimed the life of an Ardmore man.
Christopher Dale Ridinger, 48, was fatality injured when the 2003 Acura 3.2TL he was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. Ridinger was pronounced deceased at the scene. Speed is considered to be a contributing factor to the crash, which occurred on Interstate 65 at the 360 mile marker, approximately one mile south of Elkmont.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
