Funeral service for Mr. Archie Short, age 54, of Trinity, Al, will be Wednesday, July 20, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Richie Thompson officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00. Interment will be at Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Short passed away Saturday, July 17, 2016, at Decatur Morgan Parkway. Archie was born in Jefferson County, Al, to Archie and Jean Short.
He is survived by Daughters, Bridgett Miller and husband Brandon Miller of Hartselle, Al, Stacy Hall of Decatur, Al, and Ashley Short of Trinity, Al; Parents Archie and Jean Short of Somerville; Brothers, Robert Short of Somerville, Al, and Alan Short of Somerville, Al; Grandchildren, Rhylee Miller, Kaitlin Miller, William Miller, Derik Hall, Lindsey Hall, and Andrew Hall.
