Archie Dean Homan, Sr.
July 11, 1944 – December 29, 2020
Archie loved being a member and pastor of Akin Grove Baptist Church. His favorite pastime was catching many catfish on the Warrior River with his good friend, J.R. Roden (Pat).
Archie was preceded in death by his parents, Rob and Frances Homan, brothers, baby Robbie, twin brother Frank (Donna) and five sisters, Christine (J.W.), Johnnie, Jessie, Linda and Wanda. Also preceded by his in-laws, James and Ruth Higgins.
Archie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ramona Ruth Higgins Homan, sons, James and Archie, Jr. (Lessa) and daughter, Angela (Red). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Ricky, Holly, Annie, Mason, Todd, Joseph, Sarah and Jordan. Archie is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Carol (Ed) and Becky. Last, but not least Archie is survived by his favorite brother Bobby (Leatha).
