ARDMORE-On Friday, April 10 the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, April 9, has claimed the life of an Arab man.
Michael Edward Johnson, 67, was killed when the 1996 Peterbilt dump truck he was driving left the roadway on Alabama Highway 53 and overturned. Johnson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred four miles south of Ardmore. Nothing further is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.”
