Ara Christell Glass, 94, of New Hope, passed away Sunday.
Christell was born in Madison County Alabama. She was a Christian for 74 years and got saved when she was 20 years old.
She was preceded in death by husband, L.D. Glass; father, Wesley Childres; mother, Nellie Childres; son, Buddy Glass; daughter, Linda Glass; granddaughterd, Jennifer Dehart, and Teresa Denise Hill; and brothers & sisters.
Surviving are daughters, Glenda (Ray) Cody, Brenda Kay (John) Bolding, and Esther Nell (Doug) Lamon; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 3:00 PM with Bro. Trotwood Mance officiating.
Interment will be in the Hayden Cemetery.
