April Rebecca Mims, age 30, passed away late Tuesday in Memphis. She was born June 19, 1986 in Lexington. She graduated ROTC through University of Memphis at Fort Knox with her Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and went on to graduate from Cecil Humphreys School of Law. April loved her family, her dogs, and Blake Thweatt. She also enjoyed softball, reading, and school. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Linda Mims Hudson, Prentice Hudson, and John White. Survivors include her parents, Sue White Mims and Bruce Mims (Tammy Reynolds); her two sisters, Stacey Mims and Sarah Beth Mims; her grandmother, Karen White; and her grandfather, Woodrow Mims. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
