Memorial service for Anthony “Tony” Jones, 74, of Decatur will be Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Ray Halbrooks officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones died March 25, 2017. He was born March 18, 1943 in Morgan County to Eloyd Ruthven Jones and Imogene Palmer Jones. Mr. Jones worked in instrumentation at Solutia for 33 years prior to his retirement. Mr. Jones was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Jones enjoyed playing golf, watching NASCAR, Alabama Crimson Tide Football, singing karaoke and grilling. He was preceded in death by his parents.
