Anthony Theodore Booton, 59, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 in Sulligent, Alabama. He was born on November 17, 1962 to Donald Lee Booton and Betty Jo Gann. He was a graduate of Hatley High School, and then went on to serve in the Army for 4 years. Anthony was a member of New Beginning Apostolic Church in Sulligent, AL. He loved to cook and even served as a cook in the Army for a short period of time. Loving to make people laugh, he would often tell jokes to brighten someone’s day. He loved spending time with his family most of all being with his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with visitation from 11-12:45. Bro. Kirkman will be officiating.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Betty Brewer, Wren; son, Anthony Lee Booton (Samantha), Mobile; daughters, Tasha Nicole Booton, Aberdeen, Tabatha Dawn Walker, Aberdeen; grandchildren, Tara Shay Booton, Talea Renee Hogan, Taytum Makenzy Booton, Gracie Marie Rivera, Addelyn Booton, Emberle Booton; former wife, Teresa Ann Booton; Fiancé, Marie Ann Vaughn.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Donald Lee Booton; sisters, Julie Kay Booton and Teresa Lynn Phelps; his second wife Rita Booton.
