Anthony Lane Thrasher, 55, of Corinth, Mississippi passed away on Tuesday June 23, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born August 22, 1964. A visitation with social distancing for Anthony will be held Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 PM.

Anthony was a graduate of Corinth High School. He was an avid Auburn Tiger fan. He was a former long time employee of Long Wholesale. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He loved cooking delicious southern meals for his family and was especially proud of his vegetable stew. He loved to grill outside and would make sure to feed any stray dogs that visited. He took wonderful care of his beloved mother Ray and they enjoyed watching wrestling on Monday nights. He had a lifelong dream of one day living in California. On most evenings you would find him relaxing on his porch, listening to music and talking to Mia or Ian. Anthony was a very funny man who loved to keep everyone laughing. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Mia Sweat; mother, Rathelene Thrasher; brothers, Mike Thrasher (Maria), Larry Thrasher (Beverly); sisters, Shalania Isbell, Talesha Mitchell; granddaughter, Jaidyn Thrasher; special nephews, Chad, Chris and Brandon Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Thrasher and son Brennen Thrasher.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.memorialcorinth.com for the Thrasher family.
