Anthony Jason “Cornbread” Alexander Jenkins, age 35, of Nauvoo, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Pleasant Field Cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his Grandmother-Lou Nell Lucker; Dad/Grandfather-Othel Lee Jenkins; Grandmother-Mary Alexander; Brothers-Thomas Alexander and Kenneth Jenkins; Dad-Anthony Earl Jenkins.
He is survived by his Wife-Bobbie Sue Jenkins of Carbon Hill; Mothers-Mary Nalley and Jimmie Jenkins; Father-Oscar Nalley of Arley; Daughters-Haley Lyons and Kensley Jenkins; Special Daughter-Renee Armstrong; Son-Hunter Banks; Special Son-Wes Armstrong; Sister-Amy Callahan (Justin); Aunts-Darlene Herron (Grady) of Nauvoo, Fredia Sanford of Goodsprings and Sandra Key (Dean) of Empire; Special Aunt-Linda Hensen of LA; Brothers-Brandon Williams (Lacey) of Parrish, Jeremy Alexander (Alisha) of Jasper and Dennis Nalley of Arley; Uncles-Jimmy Lee Jenkins of Nauvoo and Orva Lee Jenkins-Butler; Grandfather-Thomas Alexander of Jasper.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Williams, Dennis Nalley, Jeremy Alexander, Earl Jones, Wesley Armstrong, Jason Henson and Adam Walden.
