Anthony "Goat" MossAnthony “Goat” Moss of Saulsbury, TN. Mr. Moss passed from this life on Wednesday morning, June, 30, 2021.

A life-long resident of Hardeman County, Anthony was Owner of AM/PM Pumping Service for 23 years. He also was former owner of Mr. Catfish Restaurant near Middleton and for 3 years had been owner of AM/PM Environmental Services near Moscow. It was during that time, he received an environmental award presented to him in Washington by President George W. Bush.

The son of the late Aaron Billy Moss and Faye Ervin Chase, Mr. Moss attended school in Bolivar and in his leisure time enjoyed engaging others in conversation, working on old cars and trucks and traveling. As a reflection of his Christian beliefs, he could often be found caring for and giving to others.

He leaves his wife of 44 years, Peggy Woods Moss of Saulsbury; son, Joseph Brandon (Shannon) Moss of Saulsbury; daughter, Laura Caitlin (Aaron) Watkins of Arlington, TN; sister, Kathy (Hank) Youngblood of Rogers Springs; brother, Rev. Aaron (Danita) Moss of Bethel Springs; three grandchildren, McKenzie Grace Johnson of Shiloh, TN, Emery Ann and Eila Mai Watkins, both of Arlington; and his pet dogs, “Lola” and “Mutt”.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Garron Wynn Moss in February, 1982.
