Funeral for Anthony Dorrell Brackins, 25 of Moulton will be noon, Saturday at Calvary Tabernacle Church in Moulton and burial in Moulton Memory Gardens. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to funeral. Visitation will be Friday from 6-7 at Reynolds Funeral Home. Public viewing will be Thursday from 2-7 and Friday from 10-7 at the funeral home.
Early Sunday morning God summoned and Angel to bring one of his children home. The Master whispered softly to Anthony and said “Come with me my child” and he answered the Master’s call. Born September 5, 1989 to Deborah Brackins and Paul Prince in Moulton, Alabama, He was the youngest of three siblings born to this union. At an early age he joined Cornerstone Church. He attended Lawrence County School and was employed by Burger King in Moulton. He enjoyed fishing, yard work, being a handyman in the community and helping other people. However the joy of his life was spending time with his son, Brailyn. He was a great father and was expecting another child in July of 2015. He was married to Monica Vandersclice Brackins.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife, Monica V. Brackins; one son, Brailyn Brackins; a devoted mother, Deborah Brackins; father, Paul Prince; two brothers, Marcus (Sarah) Brackins and Paul Laquon Brackins all of Moulton; grandparents, Flozell Brackins of Decatur, Winnie Sue Orr of Moulton and William (Brenda) Sharpley of Hartselle; mother-in-law, Mona Lisa (Donald) Jackson of Nocona, TX; father-in-law, David (Brandy) Vanderslice of Memphis, TN; two sisters-in-law, Courtney Jackson of Nocona, TX and Hannah Vanderslice of Hattiesburg, MS; three brothers-in-law, Kevin Reid of Dallas, TX, David (Megan) Vanderslice of Hattiesburg, MS and Austin Amsden of Memphis,TN; five nieces, seven uncles, five aunts and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
