Anthony Dale Pugh, age 48, passed away Jan. 9, 2017, at home with his family by his side. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, St. Joseph, Tennessee.
Anthony was a Jack-of-all-trades. He was passionate about NASCAR racing and a big fan of Dale Jr.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Becky Martin; daughter, Kayla Pugh; father, Thomas Pugh; brother, Tommy Pugh; and sister, Melinda Whitfield.
He is survived by his mother, Fay Pugh; children, Antonio, Brandon, Brittany, and Kyle Pugh; brothers, Randy and Cory Pugh; sisters, Cecilia Keeton (Archie), Debbie Nash (Randy), Mary Potts (Buddy), and Sandra Hamm (Wayne); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Marty Pugh, Timothy Pugh, Wayne Hamm, Buddy Potts, Archie Keeton, Paul Dempsey, Cory Pugh, and John Kelton. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Pugh and Randy Stutts.
