Anthony “Chunk” Hamblett, passed away on 12/24/2024 in Huntsville, Alabama. Born in Haileah, Florida to Jack and Barbara Hamblett, he was the fourth child of six. He moved to Vermont where he grew up and attended school. Anthony was lovingly known as Chunk. Chunk was a carpenter by trade and loved what he did. His pride was visible with every project that he completed, whether it was for work, or for his many family and friends.

Anthony is predeceased by his parents Jack and Barbara Hamblett and his son Joshua Hamblett. He is survived by his son Cagney Hamblett, wife Melissa and their children Keaton and Preslie, daughter Courtney Hood, her children Parker and Henley, his son Austin Menard, siblings, Donald Hamblett, Stephen Hamblett (Joanne), Patsy Hulbert (Thomas), Evelyn Cronan (Donald), and Robbie Hamblett (Stacey). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

Chunk loved his family dearly and his favorite things to do were to make people laugh and cook them a good meal. If you were in his presence, you were always filled with both food and laughter. Chunk was the best storyteller and most of them were almost believable. He always had everyone on the edge of their seat with bated breath.

A celebration of life will be held in the Spring time as well as a burial in Milton, VT. Chunk will be buried with his son Joshua a place he always wanted to be.
