Mr. Anthony Brunt, age 66, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at his home in Reagan. He was born July 27, 1956 in Henderson County to the late John Earl Brunt and Martha Jane Wood Brasher. He was a former employee of Leroy Somer and City of Lexington Sewer Dept. He loved fishing, politics, and sitting outside talking to family and friends. Survivors include his three children, Carl Brunt (Amber), Chris Brunt, and April Pearson; very special friend, Joyce Fiddler; two brothers, Charles Brasher and David Brasher (Trisha); his sister, Charlene Brasher (Kenny); his sister-in-law, Deborah Brunt; eight grandchildren, Payton, Jasmine, Hunter, Allie Jo, Cameron, Elizabeth, River, and Ashlee; and three great grandchildren, Clothel, Ja’Lani, and Ryker. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, Charles Brasher; brother, Stanley Brunt; sister-in-law, Janie Morris Brasher; and one grandchild, Jonathan Culps.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Sunday, October 30, 2022 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in the Brunt/Brasher Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, 5-9 PM; Saturday, 8 AM – 9 PM; and on Sunday 8 AM – 2 PM.
