Annie Sherrill “Susie” Pressnell, age 92 of Athens, Alabama passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Athens Health and Rehab. Mrs. Pressnell was born on June 27, 1924 to O.B. King and Era Belle Franklin King in Limestone County.
Mrs. Pressnell was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward “Ed” Pressnell.
She is survived by her daughters Cheryl Harrison (Tony) and Lisa Berry (Jerome); sons, Mark Pressnell (Billie Sue) and Glenn Pressnell (Nancy); brother, Morris King of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Jayne Carlock of Texas; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Mrs. Pressnell was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.
There will be a graveside service for Mrs. Pressnell 2:00PM Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Hastings Cemetery with Everett Conn officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home prior to the service.
