Mrs. Annie Ruth Jamar Annie Ruth Rogers Jamar of Huntsville, Alabama was born July 12, 1950 to the late James Rogers and Sarah Irvin Rogers. She transitioned this life and went to be with her Heavenly Father Tuesday, October 22, 2024, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Mrs. Jamar was educated in the Madison County School System and also attended J.F. Drake Technical School.

She accepted Christ on August 17, 1967 and joined St. Elizabeth C.P.C.A and sang in the choir. She loved shopping and was an avid traveler.

She is survived by her twin sons: Brett LaSean and Brooks Lavon Jamar; mother, Sarah Irvin Rogers; one sister, Margery D. Burwell (Tommy); one brother, James K. Rogers; four grandchildren: Christian Ashawna Moore, Breana Jamar, Aleigha Jamar, and Brooks Lavon Jamar Shine; four aunts: Annie Scott, Lorene Ragland, Johnnie Newby and Dillie Toney (James); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Saint Elizabeth Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America (104 Perry Street, Madison, AL 35758) with Pastor Columbus Waddle officiating. Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Mrs. Jamar will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Public viewing will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2024 and 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Royal Funeral Home.
