Annie Ruth McKleroy Feemster, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away of Friday evening, July 21, 2023, at the age of 93. Ms. Feemster was born in Blount County, Alabama, on April 3, 1930, to Lawrence Emmett and Ruby Elizabeth Green McKleroy.
Annie worked as a seamstress for many years, and she also worked for General Motors. She loved to crochet, sew, and she enjoyed puzzles. Ms. Feemster enjoyed socializing and liked to play bingo at the assisted living where she lived. Annie also regularly attended worship with her fellow residents at Morning Pointe of Tullahoma. She was a good momma, but her specialty was spoiling grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ms. Feemster adored all of her babies, and her love for her family will continue to be felt through the many memories they cherish of her. Annie will be forever missed by those she has loved so dearly.
Ms. Feemster is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ather Minos Feemster; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Those surviving Ms. Feemster are son, Kevin Feemster (Shelley); daughters, Deborah Dabiero, Phyllis Schim (Joseph), Donna Jo Feemster; brother, Obie Feemster; sisters, Blanche Mitchell, Maxine Blake; grandchildren, Ralph Dabiero III (Jennifer), Phyllis Dabiero, Jessica Feemster (Karl Waller), Allison Schim, Jonathan Feemster, Taylor Feemster, Wesley Feemster; great-grandchildren, Patrick Dabiero, Ian Dabiero, Una Calder (Joe), Thea Donahue; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m., following visitation. Ms. Feemster will be buried in Holly Pond Cemetery alongside her husband following funeral services.
