Annie Ruth Ledbetter, 80, of Huntsville, AL, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Ann was an extremely great basketball player throughout her school years. She enjoyed travelling and deep-sea fishing. She was a fabulous mother to her three children and stood hand in hand with her husband, James, for over 25 years in multiple building projects and interior decorating.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, James Ledbetter; children, Jim Ledbetter, Lynn Ledbetter Bush, and Gayle Williamson (Jeffrey); sister, Betty Liles; grandchildren, Karsten Fritz, Timothy Smith (Kelcie), Austin Bush (Lauren), Dakota Bush, and Grant Bush (Samantha); great-grandchildren, Dominic Fritz, Skylynn, Remmie, and Sailor Smith, Eliza Bush, and Landon and Paisley Bush; and several other dear relatives and friends. She was loved by many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth J. Marrett and Emmett L. Marrett; and brother, Bobby Marrett.
There will be a private family service.
