Annie Pezzillo Moon, 92, of Huntsville, AL passed away peacefully after an extended illness. Annie was a native of New York City and a resident of Madison County since 1960. She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Military Chapel and Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sadie Pezzillo; sisters, Josie, Margaret, Mary, and Sadie; and brothers, Leo and Tommy.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Thomas Moon; sons, Thomas W. Moon (Vicki) of Franklin, TN, and Dennis E. Moon (Mary) of Huntsville; grandchildren, Russell Moon (Linda), Emily Hastings (Keelan), Stephen C. Moon (Brittany) and Melissa Lord (Mike); ten great-grandchildren; sister, Rosie Dilaurenzio; and brother, Mike Pezzillo.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, December 20 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will immediately follow at the church with Father Mike Mac Mahon officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, New Hope, AL.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
