Annie Olene Burks King, age 100, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, May 12th, 2021, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.
Visitation, 3:00 p.m., Sunday May 16th, 2021, at Landmark Church, Hamilton, Alabama.
Funeral service, 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 16th, 2021, at Landmark Church. Bro. Mark Collier officiating.
Interment in Hamilton Memory Gardens (Hamilton Memorial Gardens), Hamilton, (Weston), Marion County, Alabama.
Olene was born February 14th, 1921, in Alabama to the late Charles Alexander Burks and Mary Malinda O’Rear Burks.
Olene is survived by 2 daughters, Peggy (John) Berryhill, and Anita (Roger) Hall; grandchildren, Steve (Colleen) Berryhill, Pam Berryhill, Dr. Darlia King (David) Morris, and Jason Hall (Tracie); 7 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Peggy J. Webb King.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard King, and son, JC King; parents, Charles Alexander Burks and Mary Malinda O’Rear Burks; and 10 siblings.
