Annie Mae Wilson Mauldin, 94, of Cherokee, died Saturday, November 18, 2017. Her visitation will be Monday, November 20th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. Her funeral service will be Tuesday, November 21st at 2 p.m. at Asphalt Rock Baptist Church, with John Bray and Andy Elliott officiating. She will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Asphalt Rock Cemetery.
Mrs. Mauldin was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wister Mauldin; and daughter, Elizabeth Ann Mauldin Cochran. She was a member of Asphalt Rock Baptist Church for 63 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Kay Mauldin Hayes; son, Kenneth David Mauldin; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Colby Brents, Will McIntosh, Coleton Young, Zackery Barrett, Tim Mauldin, Tracey Hayes, and John W. Young.
